Primary responsibility is the acquisition of new department stores for John Lewis. The Partnership stated in Autumn 2003 its intention to open at least 10 new stores by 2013. In addition, Jeremy has responsibility for the asset and property management of the department stores property portfolio.
Prior to joining John Lewis in November 2003, Jeremy was Head of Retail for Lend Lease Europe with responsibility for the company's development portfolio. Projects included: Touchwood, Solihull; Chapelfield, Norwich; CMK Milton Keynes and Battersea Power Station.
Jeremy has 20 years experience in property development with Bredero Properties, Grosvenor Square Properties/Associated British Ports, MEPC and Lend Lease. Was made Junior Vice President of the BCSC in January 2007.
