David Fletcher was previously Investment and Marketing Director for Sheffield First for Investment, which was recently benchmarked as the world’s leading inward investment agency. During its life, Sheffield First for Investment attracted and retained over 9000 jobs and facilitated the development of over 1.3 million sq ft of business property.
David led the team which secured major business investment projects in Sheffield such as the £110M Polestar printing superplant, and also led, on behalf of the city, the successful multi-million pound bid to retain the World Snooker Championships at the Crucible Theatre for a 5 year period.
Prior to joining Sheffield First for Investment in January 2002, David worked in the property and construction sector for both HBG and Wimpey.
As a Chartered Marketer, David has over 18 years experience as a business development professional.
