Managing Director of Evans Easyspace Ltd, which is a managed workspace company originally set up by the Evans Property Group.
Appointed in February 2000, Tom has taken Easypace to a position where it is a recognised brand name in the managed workspace sector with its 50th centre opening later this year.
Evans Easyspace’s market focus is the SME sector, with the emphasis on a no hassle service and treating the occupier as the customer or client, rather than a tenant. They operate on completely flexible terms.
Tom is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, having studied Land Economics at Paisley College of Technology. During his career he has worked both in the public sector and for both small and large private companies. His career has almost always involved developing and managing space for small business.
He is Board member of the Business Centre Association (bca) and will become its Chairman in May 2008.
Prior to setting up Evans Easyspace he was a director of IMEX which was part of the Birkby Group. He was also a member of the Board of East Durham Development Agency.
Tom is 56, married with two grown children and recently moved to Yorkshire. His passion in life is the alternative Glasgow football team, known south of the border as Partick Thistle Nil.
