John Bywater was born in Leeds and is managing director of Caddick Developments Ltd. He was for 10 years an executive director of Hammerson plc, one of the UK`s top 100 leading companies, with a portfolio in excess of £7bn. He is a non-executive director of Workspace Group plc, West Bromwich Building Society and British Waterways Board .He was formerly Head of Retail at Donaldsons Chartered Surveyors and also managing director of Burton Property Trust.
