John Forbes
John is a partner in the London office of PricewaterhouseCoopers and leads our Real Estate Industry Practice in the UK across our various service lines. Our services for the real estate industry cover four areas:

• Transactions
• Assurance and compliance
• Operational efficiency and sustainability
John has been a corporate tax specialist with the firm for over twenty years, six of them in Russia where he led our real estate practice. His clients are real estate fund managers, real estate investment bankers and other professionals in the real estate industry.
John is a leading adviser on international real estate fund structuring and has advised on the establishment of pan-European and global real estate funds, as well as similar funds for investment in infrastructure, hotels and other operating assets. He is the PwC Global Investment Management and Real Estate Product Advisory Leader, focusing in particular on real estate and infrastructure funds.
John also advises on the structuring of real estate investment transactions, particularly for cross-border investments.
