In this challenging and opportunistic climate we examine the banks strategies to distressed debt, we give you an insight into the current approach to workouts and we explore whether extend and pretend is likely to continue.  We include two case studies on build workouts.  We look at how to unlock and drive revenue into a scheme, plan for a programme, stabilise the project and assess when a project becomes distressed.  We also hear from the investors who have done deals with the banks and examine what the banks are looking for from an investor when they consider disposing of a distressed asset.
