Martin is Head of Government Estate Rationalisation at OGC, whose mission is drive efficiency in government procurement, including property. Martin's team coordinate the property activities of individual Government departments on the Civil Estate of 14.5 million sq metres, of which 72% are offices. They have oversight of all central government property events, and run a clearinghouse for surplus offices. The overall aim is to make the civil estate leaner and greener.
