Neil Thompson joined Great Portland Estates plc in 2002 having previously worked in the Central London office market for Derwent Valley Holdings plc and Legal and General. He was appointed to the GPE Board as Development Director in 2006.
Neil has 18 years of direct experience working for Central London investor/developers and joined GPE to establish a focused development business for the group.
GPE now has a development programme of over 2.9 million sq. ft. with successful projects completed to date including, Met Building, Percy Street, W1, 180 Great Portland Street, W1, 160 Tooley Street, SE1, the new offices for London Borough of Southwark and 60 Great Portland Street, W1. In addition, GPE have obtained planning permission for a number of major future developments throughout central London, including a 40-storey tower building at 100 Bishopsgate, EC3.
