Mat joined Savills as head of Commercial Research in September 1997.  He is responsible for all Savills' research into the retail, leisure, office and industrial property markets throughout Europe.

His experience includes work on a wide variety of topics including advising on tenant targeting and market trends for major office and mixed-use schemes in London and across Europe, environmental impact analyses, and assessing demand for and master planning retail and leisure developments.  He has particular experience in working with the public sector on inward investment matters and with the private sector on relocation studies.  He is author of Savills’ regular reports on the London office markets, and is chairman of the British Council for Offices research committee.
