Keith was responsible for the production of the London East West Study for the Strategic Rail Authority, which led to the revival of Crossrail. As a result of this, he was responsible for setting up the joint venture between the SRA and Transport for London to take the project forward. Since then he has led the design of the scheme, latterly taking over as Managing Director.
He is a civil engineer and has spent the last 30 years on the design, finance and construction of new railways and other public works.
He was project manager for the infrastructure of the Beckton Extension of the Docklands Light Railway and worked on several other major schemes in London.
He also spent many years working overseas including highway construction in Nepal and central Africa and 13 years in Hong Kong, including a period advising on finance of major infrastructure projects.
