Dr. Sorgenfrei is working for the Port of Hamburg since more than 20 years. He is chairman of the Port of Hamburg Marketing Assn. since 2001. From 2003 until 2007 he was also chairman of HCC Hamburg Cruise Center. He founded his professional competence and capabilities with HPC Hamburg Port Consulting and gained a wide range of international experience during his various tasks for many ports around the world. Prior to his appointment as chairman of Port of Hamburg Marketing, Dr. Sorgenfrei was Director Marketing & Business Development for HHLA Hamburg Port and Logistics Corp.. In addition to his various tasks, he gives lectures on Port Economics and Logistics.
