Michael was the CEO of Dubai Logistics City from June 2005 until April 2008.

Michael has over 25 years experience in the Supply Chain/Logistics industry and has held senior Executive positions with global logistics companies in the UK – McGegor Cory and Hays, Switzerland – Danzas and in Germany – Deutsche Post.

Michael is a British citizen, has an MBA from Cranfield Business School in the UK, is a qualified accountant (FCCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He is also a Director of the Supply Chain and Logistics Group in Dubai, is a Member of the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Advisory Board and is a. Member of the Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Advisory Board.

He is currently working as an Independent Strategic Advisor on assignments with Companies in the UAE, India, Mexico and Greece.
